LATEST NEWS: BIANCHI SPONSORS A NEW TEAM
April 5, 2012

Bianchi is proud to be the new official sponsor of Team Rynkeby whose mission is to raise money to support the fight against children’s cancer. To fulfill their project, the 850 Team Rynkeby riders will start a seven-stage "Tour" from Ringe (Denmark) on July 14th and they will arrive together in Paris (France) on the 20th.

Team Rynkeby has existed since 2002 and will include 850 riders and 170 assistants in 2012, shared among 13 Danish teams and four Swedish teams.

Bianchi will supply Team Rynkeby’s riders with unique Bianchi Via Nirone model bicycles that include hydroformed aluminum frame (yellow colour with celeste inserts), featuring C2C (Coast to Coast) geometry. It is the ideal performance bike for long distance rides and will enable the 850 Team Rynkeby riders to cover the 1.200 km distance that separates Scandinavia from Paris with minimum stress. Two days later, on July 22nd, Bianchi's WorldTour team Vacansoleil-DCM, equipped with Oltre model, will arrive in Paris too, as the conclusion of the Tour de France.

"We are very proud to support the Rynkeby charity project and to support the fight against children's cancer", Founder and CEO of the Grimaldi Industri AB (“Grimaldi Group”) and Chairman of Bianchi Salvatore Grimaldi said. "It will be exciting to see so many Bianchi bikes riding through the Champs Elysées in Paris".

The media coverage of the event will include national and international TV stations, radio stations, newspapers, website and also social networks.
