GU ROCTANE DRINK, RECOVERY BREW & PEANUT BUTTER GEL
Here's a look at some of the latest products to come by RBA headquarters, starting with something we've been looking forward to for a while: a recovery drink from GU. GU's Recovery Brew comes in three unique flavors, Chocolate Smoothie, Strawberry-Watermelon and Orange-Pineapple.

Fans of GU's Brew Energy Drink mix can now get a super-charged version for those extra long days in the saddle. Part of the company's Roctane line, Ultra Endurance drink amps up the calories and carbs over GU's "standard" drink mix. Three flavors are available: Lemon-Lime, Tropical Fruit & Grape.

GU's peanut butter gel, the "most requested new flavor" in the company's history, is now available for mass consumption. Promotional samples had been floating around for some time, complete with a shot of Andre the Giant in his role from the film, "Princess Bride." With peanut butter, GU Gel flavors now total 11... there's another obscure film reference in there somewhere.

HYDRAPAK SOFTFLASK

If you're a fan of energy gels, then you may have tried any one of the various "gel flasks" on the market. They're washable, reusable, and usually hold the equivalent of 5-10 gel packets in one convenient unit. Hydrapak's newest offering, the Softflask, is a great variation on the traditional hard plastic gel flask. It's made from a soft, flexible fabric that lets you squeeze every last bit of gel at the end of a long ride. It's also easier to clean.
