Monday 14 JulyStage 10: Pau–Hautacam—156km This stage on France’s national day is short, sharp and decisive. Starting with rolling roads across the Pyrenees foothills, the steep climb of the Col du Tourmalet (17.7km at 7.5 percent) will make the first selection before the final mountaintop finish atop the 14.2km ascent to Hautacam. Once again, the pressure will be on Cadel Evans to put his authority on the race if he wants to win the 2008 Tour de France.
