Olympic champion Samuel Sanchez will spearhead Basque cycling team Euskaltel's bid at the Tour de France from June 30 to July 22. Spaniard Sanchez won the top climber's jersey last year but the 34-year-old saw his campaign hampered by a fall during the Dauphine Libere earlier this month.

   The team will be managed by Gorka Gerrikagoitia and Inaki Isasi.
