Elk Grove Village, IL –  Team TIBCO will keep the momentum going this weekend as they participate in the three-day, three-stage Alexian Brothers Tour of Elk Grove just outside Chicago. The Team sends a five-rider squad to contest the National Racing Calendar stage race, led by Team Captain Meredith Miller.

U.S. U23 National Road and Criterium Champion Samantha Schneider will be joined by teammates Lindsay Myers, Kendall Ryan and Jennifer Purcell.

“We have a strong squad of sprinters to contest the Tour,” said Team TIBCO European directeur sportif Angela van Smoorenburg. “The races will be short and fast and our riders will have an opportunity to showcase their speed and power.”

Hailing from the Milwaukee area, Schneider will have a chance to race in front of her friends, family and local community.  With two 2012 national championship titles under her belt, the young rider will certainly be a race favorite at this year’s Tour.

The Tour kicks off Friday with an afternoon time trial of 7.2 kilometers containing five turns and a long finishing straight.  Saturday the riders will go all out with the 60-minute Comcast Pro Women’s Circuit Race, followed by the closing 75-minute Circuit Race on Sunday.
