If ever there was a great story about a "little guy" upsetting the "big guy" cart, it would be what Russ Kappius and his innovative, ingenious and beautifully crafted Kappius hubs. Born from the real world experience of his hubs failing out on a ride one day, Russ, who also happens to be one of those certified "smart guy" types, decided that there had to be a better hub design; one that not only shined with increased durability, but performance as well.
