After yet another few crashes, Alberto Contador was a hot commodity to interview before he ultimately pulled out of the race during stage 9.

From a blistering hot start to stage 9, the riders saw a drastic change, having to navigate through tough rain and hail.

The two remaining favorites. Only time will tell in seeing if Colombian Nairo Quintana has anything for two time winner, Chris Froome.
