Friday marked the penultimate stage of the four-day 2015 Dubai Tour. And whereas the first two stages featured sprint finishes on flat roads, the third stage saw a unique uphill finish that kicked up to a maximum gradient of 17%. Giant-Alpecin’s John Degenkolb proved the strongest on the day, timing his attack to perfection and beating out Movistar’s Alejandro Valverde. (Photos: Bettini)
