The Scott Plasma LTD entered the multi-sport world in February of 2006, and in short order became the third most popular bike at the starting line in Kona and the fastest growing brand at Iron Man events. Designed to focus on aerodynamics and featuring Scott’s proprietary CR1 technology, the stunning Plasma LTD features a Shimano Dura-Ace group, Zipp wheels and Profile aerobars. The frame joints of the LTD are heated to a liquefied state and then bonded together, which make the seat tube, head tube and bottom bracket a complete unit. The svelte (15.3 pounds) Plasma LTD also features internal cable routing, aerodynamically sculpted vertical drop-outs, and a tubeset designed to reduce turbulent air zones around the frame. Want one? We do.
