On June 4th, Dirty Kanza will roll out of downtown Emporia, Kansas and onto the unforgiving gravel roads of the Flint Hills. After only a decade the event has become the marquee gravel race in the world and continues to be one of our top bucket list events of the year. For those that are hoping to find their way onto the start line, you might want to set your alarm this Saturday morning (January 9th). At 8am (CST) registration will open for the event that all other gravel races are compared to, and don’t expect spots to last long. If past years are any indication, all of the nearly 2,000 spots will be filled by the end of the day. Three route options are available, a 30 miler, 100 miler, and the 200 miler that the race was founded on.
