2019 Tour de France Stage 7 Results

Stage 7 Friday, July 12

BELFORT – CHALON-SUR-SAONE

Jumbo Visma’s Dylan Groenewegen outsprinted the peloton for his first stage win of the 2019 Tour de France. After an unfortunate high-speed crash in the final kilometers of stage 1, Groenewegen looks to be back to full strength, inching out Lotto Soudal’s Caleb Ewan. Peter Sagan rounded out the stage 7’s podium and adds to his green jersey lead.

Second overall Julian Alaphilippe still trails the yellow jersey Giulio Ciccone by 6 seconds and stage six champion Dylan Teuns sits third overall 32 seconds back.
