2020 Tour de France Stage 20 Results — “I Just Went Deep” Tadej Pogacar Wins the Tour de France

Tadej Pogacar secured his overall victory of the Tour de France ahead of the procession to the Champs-Elysees. The 21-year-old Slovene crushed the 57 second deficit between himself and Primoz Roglic, finishing 1:56 ahead of his fellow countryman. the stage win secured Pogacar with not only the yellow leader’s jersey, but the polka dot and white jersey as well. It’s a phenomenal effort Pogacar called a more than a “dream” saying he only dreamt of racing the Tour never winning.

“I just went deep.” Pogacar humbly described his effort.

Primoz Roglic falls to second place overall as 35-year-old Richie Porte climbs to third overall.
