2020 Tour de France Stage 6 Results — A Win for the Breakaway

A win for the breakers

Four-time Tour veteran Alexey Lutsenko of Team Astana won stage six of the 2020 Tour de France. The 27-year old Kazahkstani national champion out paced a fierce group of breakaway companions nearly 10km from the finish line. Lutsenko solo’d into Mont Aigoual 55 seconds ahead of Cofidis’ Jesus Herrada and nearly 3 minutes ahead of Olympic champ Greg van Avermaet. 24-year-old American Neilson Powless followed closely behind GvA to claim fourth place.
