2020 Tour de France Stage Two Results — Alaphilippe Takes Command
Deceuninck Quick Step’s Julian Alaphilippe outsmarted the peloton with a successful breakaway to win stage two. The 28-year-old Frenchmen worked with Adam Yates and Marc Hirschi in the final 8 miles of tight, winding roads. The Trio was able to stay out of sight from the peloton until the final five hundred meters. Alaphilippe had enough gas left in the tank and timed his sprint to perfection finishing half a bike length ahead of Hirschi.
FULL STAGE REPORT SOON.
