SENA R1 EVO

Sena’s built-in walkie-talkie feature is what stands out on this smart helmet. It uses a microphone in the lip of the helmet that cuts out wind rush and white noise for clear audio. Speakers built into the mold can be paired with a smartphone over a Bluetooth connection. The helmet uses three buttons to power on/off, control the walkie-talkie, listen to music and take phone calls.

KASK RAPIDO

Italian helmet brand Kask has been around for just over 16 years. We discovered their Rapido model about a decade ago, and since then it has been one of our favorites due to its low weight and exceptional ventilation. The Rapido optimizes ventilation with 24 larger vents to further increase airflow.

Price: $199
