Quarq Adds Elsa RS Powermeter

Quarq’s ever-growing line of crank spider-based powermeters has now grown to include the Elsa RS, a version that’s fully-compatible with Shimano’s 4-arm Hollowgram chainrings found on Ultegra and Dura-Ace level cranks. This allows those with Shimano chainrings to now have a seamless integration with a Quarq device while benefiting from the numerous chainring size options the 4-arm design allows. Like the rest of the Quarq line, the Elsa RS uses an ANT+ protocol for use with a number of head unit computers. Available in both BB30 and GXP, with a claimed weight of 616 grams (GXP). Pricing is set at $1650 for BB30 and $1600 GXP.
