BMC PARTNERS WITH RED BULL FORMULA ONE TEAM

Similar to when Specialized partnered with the McLaren F1 team back in 2012  to help hype and develop their Venge road bike, BMC has announced a new partnership with the Red Bull F1 team that will hopefully bring more spotlight to the technology and dedication that racing in both venues require.

Specialized teamed with McLaren years ago to help develop new technologies.

BMC PARTNERS WITH RED BULL F1

Press Release

We are proud to announce that BMC has become an Official Partner of the Oracle Red Bull Racing Team from the 2022 season onward. The partnership takes the next steps in developing and deepening what has already been a successful technical collaboration stretching back to 2018 when BMC first teamed up with Red Bull Advanced Technologies to explore the intersection between Formula 1 expertise and high-performance competition bicycles.

As an Official Team Partner of Oracle Red Bull Racing, we are taking the next step in broadening our existing relationship with the team, supplying bikes for Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez to facilitate track recon and fitness training, as well as for trackside use by the travelling race team, and staff at the Red Bull Technology Campus. The partnership extends to include what will be exciting joint activations featuring the F1 drivers and athletes from both our brands.

“Partnering with a high performance, like-minded organization such as Oracle Red Bull Racing is a clear demonstration of our dedication to develop the fastest bikes in the world. Taking what has been an ongoing and inspiring high-tech collaboration between BMC and Red Bull Racing to the next level, allows us to elevate our performance and engineering capabilities, and inspire both our fans and riders to ‘Create Speed’.” David Zurcher, CEO of BMC Switzerland

Oracle Red Bull Racing Team Principal and CEO, Christian Horner welcomes the strengthened alliance: “This new agreement takes an already hugely successful collaboration to a new level. We have been working closely with BMC for almost four years and the application of Formula 1 technologies to performance cycling has yielded impressive results. Now we are building on that success to encompass a new partnership that increases visibility, enhances engagement, and connects fans of cycling and motor sport in innovative ways.”

As we look forward to an exciting season ahead, the first results of this partnership are set to be revealed at one of the world’s biggest sporting events in just a few weeks’ time.
