CycleKids.org will be holding its annual Spring Classic fundraiser event May 4 and among its featured items will be a custom, made-to-order Ben Serotta road bicycle. The tailor-made frame will be handcrafted by Ben, and complimented with components by Campagnolo. Valued at $10,000, the package includes a custom bike fit at a location convenient to the highest bidder, with options for further upgrades also available. Last fall Serotta had a chance to witness the launch of a CycleKids program in a school in the Bronx and said, “Watching as children’s lives begin a transformation before my eyes was simply an overwhelming experience. I just had to help. As an artist, making something with my own hands is the best way I know how to show my support.”
The CycleKids custom-tailored, Ben Serotta amodomio C17 is crafted from Ben’s own proprietary steel tubing produced exclusively for him by Columbus SpA of Milan, Italy.
