WHAT ABOUT COFFEE?
Coffee has long been engrained in cycling culture. Many group rides start, end, or sometimes include stops at coffee shops. Coffee-related companies have sponsored some of the most iconic teams in the sport’s history, including Eddy Merckx’s 1969 Tour winning Faema team, Café de Colombia in the 80s, Saeco in the 90s, and Segafredo today. In recent years we’ve learned more about how coffee and caffeine affect performance – including how its effects change for older athletes.
ZWIFT UNVEILS NEW MAP
Zwift, the global training and gaming platform for cyclists, today announced the release of its most ambitious world to date, New York. In development since 2017, New York follows the recent release of Zwift’s Innsbruck-Tirol 2018 UCI Road World Championship course, and joins Watopia, London and Richmond as Zwift’s 5th ‘World.’ Although a familiar city to many, Zwift’s take on New York transports Zwifters 100 years into the future, delivering a whimsical vision of the city and signifies the company’s biggest move to ‘gamify’ the training experience yet.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: THE TOOL EVERY CYCLIST NEEDS
One of the most overlooked aspects of a bicycle are the small numbers printed on almost every stem, bar and seatpost, the max torque rating. That small print is just overlooked as cyclists quickly make adjustments. But if you have ever had a bar slip on a ride or maybe even worse, heard that terrible sound of carbon cracking as you tighten down a bolt then you might want to think of investing in a torque wrench.
NEW PRODUCTS FROM EASTON
EA90 | EA70 | EA50 ICM Stems and Computer Mount
Your stem may seem inconsequential, but it is the point of transfer between your skilled handling and the bike itself. An impressive refinement of our popular top-level Easton alloy stem, the 2019 EA90 stems have a larger boom diameter for increased stiffness and, by utilizing our highest quality alloys, we were able to remove excess material for even more weight savings. We’ve also created a custom computer mount (included with EA90 stems and sold separately) that is compatible with all ICM faceplate stems for cleaner lines and improved aerodynamics.
EC70 SL | EA90 ISA Seatposts
The newly redesigned EC70 SL Seatpost takes our superlight unidirectional carbon and applies our patent pending ISA technology – Independent Saddle Adjustment – which allows for completely independent fore-aft adjustment and saddle adjustment. With the 2 pitch adjustment bolts, the saddle angle gets locked into place as if you were adjusting limit screws, and unlike single bolt designs, you get adjustability and security.
