The newest bike to find its way into the high-end Cipollini line is the NK1K. It uses a blend of tube shapes oriented toward aerodynamics, along with geometry and fitting solutions that make it more appealing to a larger rider group. Just like all Cipollini frames, it’s designed, constructed, and finished in Italy. A price tag of $7,299 puts it on a very exclusive list of ultra high-end bikes.

The NK1K is the first Cipollini bike to offer disc brakes, and comes just in time for the allowance of disc brakes in 2016 UCI racing. It uses the latest standards, with Flat-mount caliper mounts, 140mm rotors, and 12mm thru-axles.

Just like the rear, a Flat-mount design is used in the front. The NK1K also comes in a rim brake version.

A unique front end spacer opens the door to a much wider range of riders. The 16mm spacer pictured helps riders achieve a more realistic fit than a super-low slammed stem position, but once removed, the limber, racer-types can still find an ideal aerodynamic fit. Standard headset spacers can still be used for micro-adjustments.

The NK1K uses a 386EVO bottom bracket shell, which allows for a wide range of compatible cranks. Both electronic and mechanical groups are compatible.
