FIRST LOOK: LAZER’S BUDGET FRIENDLY SPHERE HELMET

Plenty of features for plenty less cash

Press Release

Lazer’s  new Sphere and Sphere MIPS road helmets offer select style and protection for riders of all levels. With a design based on the natural riding position – road cyclists instinctively tilt their heads at a 15-degree angle when riding – the Sphere’s ventilation system is optimized to keep the rider’s head cool for longer in this position.

Equipped with Lazer’s patented Advanced Rollsys® system with 360° retention and vertical adjustment, the Sphere optimizes fit for more head shapes and sizes. With four sizes (small, medium, large, and XL) to choose from as well as five unique color options – including a Turquoise Blue, Matte Black, Glossy Red, White and Black, and a cool Striped pink and purple design that fades from front to back – there’s a fit and style to suit every rider’s taste

Aerodynamics and Cooling

Fast doesn’t have to mean hot when it comes to the Sphere and Sphere MIPS. Optimized vents and air channels are strategically placed throughout the helmet to help promote airflow for increased cooling while keeping the outside of the helmet sleek and fast so it can cut through the wind. The vents are optimized for when the head is in the riding position, so you get real-world cooling and aerodynamics.

A Perfect Fit

Using the same fit system as the popular G1 design, the new Sphere optimizes fit for more head shapes and sizes. Available in four size options (small, medium, large, and XL), the helmet utilizes Lazer’s Rollsys fit system so every rider can find the most comfortable, secure fit ever.

Eyewear Docking

The Sphere features a handy eyewear docking zone paired with specially designed vents for a convenient and secure place to stash your sunglasses when you’re not wearing them.

Versatility for All Conditions

Compatible with Lazer’s Aeroshell cover, the Sphere can transform into an aero road helmet on important race days, or it can block out the cold and wind on blustery winter rides. By simply snapping on the accessory shell, riders can tune their ride without switching helmets.
