First Look: Orbea’s Terra Gravel Bikes

Long famous for their two decade plus collaboration with Spain’s Euskatel-Euskadi Pro Tour team and the elite road bike offerings that were the result, Orbea is now branching out to grab a piece of the gravel bike market which continues to gain steam with each passing week.

Five different models make up Orbea’s Terra bike line (that starts at a $2999 price point) featuring fully modern gravel spec with hydraulic disc brakes, 12mm thru-axles, and big tires. The bikes are available in five sizes and can also be had through Orbea’s own MY-O custom paint program. Here are three of the five available bikes that should be hitting U.S. shores by the summer.

ORBEA M20D – $3499

Orbea Terra 1
The M20 D runs with a Shimano Ultegra drivetrain, FSA components, Mavic Aksium wheels and Schwalbe G-One tires.

TERRA M20i D – $4999

Orbea Terra 2
The Terra M20i D is Orbea’s top of the line gravel offering. The Shimano Ultegra Di2 drivetrain is mated to FSA components and Fulcrum wheels mounted with the superb Schwalbe G-One tires.

TERRA M21D – $3999

Orbea Terra 3
Without a doubt the M21D model is the favorite in the RBA office – colors! We also like the SRAM Force 1x drivetrain spec combined with the proven Fulcrum wheels and Schwalbe G-One tires. Dirty Kanza bound?!
