First Look: Ritte Satyr Gravel Bike

Two new steel models with a signature design

Ritte is an early SoCal carbon brand that has recently re-established itself with a duo of Tom Kellogg designed steel bikes using Reynolds tubing. We’ve been  testing the Phantom road bike with favorable results, and now this on their Satyr gravel bike….

Press Release

Ritte partners with SRAM to offer it’s new Satyr gravel frame with the wide range Force AXS Mullet, available at an exceptional price for a limited time. Pairing a SRAM Eagle AXS mountain bike derailleur and cassette to the Force AXS electronic road shifters turns the Satyr into a go anywhere, do anything gravel machine.

The Satyr is Ritte’s latest offering for the gravel market – drawing on plenty of cross racing pedigree and the experience of world championship winning custom frame builder Tom Kellogg. The Satyr is built with Reynolds 725 tubesets specced to vary for each size, equipped with Enve forks with varying rakes for each size, and featuring fully internally routed cabling through a threaded T47 bottom bracket shell. The Satyr is stiff, yet comfortable, with clearance for 700×43 tires. All the ride quality of custom in a ready to ride package.

As Tom Kellogg himself has said “it’s the closest thing you can get to a custom frame but without the wait and without the price”. “People benefit from a custom frame in a number of ways – there’s always the ideal fit but there’s also just the way it rides and Ritte has delivered that custom bike handling and feel with this bike” – Tom Kellogg

Outfitted with SRAM’s eTap AXS electronic shifting and a 10-50 Eagle cassette the Satyr is ready for every ride. From comfortably cruising dirt roads to tackling long climbs before ripping down twisty singletrack there is no better match for the bike’s personality than the Force AXS Mullet drivetrain.
Available for pre-order until July 9th, the Satyr AXS Build is offered in two configurations. An Alloy Configuration with Hunt X-Wide Alloy Gravel wheels and an FSA Energy Alloy Cockpit for $4,999. As well as a Carbon Configuration with Enve G23 or 3.4AR wheels and a full Enve Carbon Cockpit. As with all Ritte builds the rider can select their choice of handlebar width, stem length, crank length, tires, and gearing – all within the overall package price. Ritte Bicycles
