After years in the making, SCOTT releases its brand new Addict Gravel, a bike which was designed with nothing less than the following in mind- Be fast on tarmac, feel comfortable on any kind of rough terrain, and provide superb handling on gnarly trails. “Our goal from day one was to build an ultimate gravel bike which you can also take for an adventure”, William Juban, Head of Road Bike Engineering at SCOTT says. “One bike which can do it all. The result is the probably fastest, most capable, and most fun gravel bike the market has to offer.”

GEOMETRY
The geometry has been optimized for modern, aggressive gravel riding. Our goal was to create a well-balanced geometry for a controllable and predictive handling even in tricky situations on narrow trails. It comes with an increased reach, longer fork rake, lower bottom bracket and shorter stem to make for a more agile and stable bike off-road, that still provides the optimal position for pedaling efficiency even with bigger tires. The tire clearance was increased to 45mm to guarantee a controlled and smooth riding experience.

LIGHTWEIGHT CONSTRUCTION

All models in the SCOTT Addict family are known for extremely lightweight construction and the new Addict Gravel is no exception. Taking into consideration the riding this bike is designed for; we have created the strongest carbon road frame set we have ever built. Through clever layering and reinforcement in certain zones we came up with a very light but also extremely durable frame set. The Addict Gravel Tuned frame weights 930g and the fork 395g.

INTEGRATION
The new Addict Gravel has completely integrated cable routing for both mechanical and electonic shifting as found on the Addict RC or Foil RC. This is possible through the brand-new SYNCROS Creston iC SL X cockpit. It combines ergonomics, compliance and light weight, unlike any other handlebar currently on the market. It comes with a flare of 16° for optimal of road handling and an impressive weight of 335g. For increased shock absorption the top section was recessed to allow for the use of thicker gravel specific bar tape while maintaining an integrated design.
Integrated cable routing not only makes for a clean and premium look, but also improves the airflow in the front and provides more space and no cable rubbing for handlebar bags.

MOUNTS
The new Addict Gravel comes with smart mounts for gear and accessories make the Addict Gravel ready for serious adventure rides. You will find a mounting option for bolt-on top-tube bags and accessories. There is also an extra mount on the down tube for an additional bottle cage or toolbox. Two different bottle cage positions, for better access when riding with a frame bag. Fender mounts are another new feature.

FEATURES & HIGHLIGHTS

AERO TUBE SHAPES
Gravel and aero can also go hand in hand. SCOTT’s patented airfoil design has been applied to its main tubes (down tube, head tube, seat tube, seat post, seat stays) with the goal to optimizing the airflow and reduce the overall drag without any compromise on comfort and compliance.
ROTOR SIZES
All Addict Gravel will come with hydraulic disc brakes and 160mm disc rotors for perfect braking performance. The front allows for 160mm/180mm, back 160mm/140mm.
1x AND 2x COMPATIBLE
The bike is perfectly compatible with one and two-by drive trains. For one-by the front derailleur plate can be replaced by a bike specific chain guide or closing plate.
FENDERS
The Addict Gravel comes with well-hidden mounts for fenders on the seatstays and fork. The tire clearance is 40mm with Fenders.

CONTESSA ADDICT GRAVEL

Meet the all-new Contessa Addict Gravel 15. Whatever path you put in front of this adventure machine, she is up for the challenge and ready to take you there. The Contessa Addict Gravel features the same new progressive geometry, increased tire clearance, more mounts for bags, fully integrated cable routing, and an incredibly lightweight frame construction. What sets the Contessa apart are specifically chosen components, touchpoints and Signature design.

The ALL-NEW Addict Gravel Range
There are 5 different models to chose from. 2-by options can be found from SRAM and Shimano as well as 1-by from SRAM. The Tuned version will even come with a Quarq powermeter. The exact specs are found in the media folder below. The specs of the Addict Gravel 20 will be just released on the 10th of August. To complete our Gravel family, a new Speedster Gravel will be launched in August.
