Marianne Vos won the 68-mile-long stage 7 of the Giro d’Italia Donne. 34-year-old Vos rode away with Italian Elisa Longo Borghini as the course kicked-up with half a mile to the finish line. The duo opened up a small gap to the final meters where Vos got the best of Loongo Borghini as overall race leader Anna van der Breggen led the charging peloton. Vos earned her 30th win all-time at the race. Van der Breggen retained the her lead with her SD Worx teammates Ashleigh Moolman Pasio and Demi Vollering in second and third.
