Ian Boswell Recovering from Crash at Tirreno Adriatico

A tough day for the American

Ian Boswell fell victim to one of the many crashes during stage 4 of Tirreno Adriatico. The Bend, Oregon native was one of the many casualties of stage 4 which saw stage winner, Alexey Lutsenko hit the deck twice and Tour de France champion Geraint Thomas abandon as well. Boswell is currently recovering with family and friends in Europe.

Gretchen writing here for Ian, who is recovering in Nice from his recent concussion in Tirreno-Adriatico. Thank you for all the kind messages of love and support and to the most loyal @philipdeignan83 for driving to pick him up yesterday. We are taking this very seriously, given recent research about the long term impacts of concussions and the fact that this is not his first head injury. Stay safe out there and wear your helmet, folks!
