Following intensive design and development in collaboration with the athletes, the first ever pair of KASK glasses will be seen at Australia’s Tour Down Under, worn by ambitious Pro Continental team, Drapac Pro Cycling.
Marked by many teams as the curtain opener to the season, the six-day Tour Down Under (19-24 January) offers the perfect opportunity for the pro teams to test and showcase new equipment – and new riders – as the pro peloton stretches its legs. In what’s likely to be the full glare of the Adelaide sun, the Drapac riders will chose to wear the all new KASK sunglasses, which are designed to work best in conjunction with their KASK helmets.
“We are excited to partner with KASK for eyewear and launch the new line for this innovative and dynamic company,” says Jonathan Breekveldt, Drapac Pro Cycling General Manager, “KASK products come from high level research and quality and for us at Drapac Cycling, we are proud to race and train with their products.”
“Looking forward to the KASK eyewear in 2016. The glasses are comfortable, lenses are clear and the glasses sit well when training and racing. KASK eyewear is a great addition to 2016,” confirms Graeme Brown, Drapac cyclist and two-time Olympic Gold Medalist.
The first incarnation of the sunglasses will be available in the best shops for summer 2016, in two designs. All the details on the new KASK sunglasses will be revealed in spring, ahead of official launch in the summer.
Keep your eyes peeled for the innovative new eyewear Down Under.
