From Limar

As Eurobike is ready to begin, Limar SRL is excited to announce the formation of a new company to serve the US market. The creators of the lightest helmet in the world are expanding their business to the North American consumer with the first delivery of new helmets ready for distribution in the coming weeks.

Giovanni Caporali, Co-President USA, said, “We have been studying the US market carefully and have many options for road, gravel, mountain biking, commuter and eBike styles. We enjoy engaging with the consumers at events like Sea Otter and we will continue innovating into the future.”

The company will enter the American market with its premium products for adults with most models coming equipped with MIPS. The collection contains something for everyone, and will leverage its lengthy Italian road heritage. Models designed for the emerging gravel, enduro, commuter and eBike categories means there is something for every cyclist.

Co-President USA Bianca Bernardi added, “We look forward to meeting retailers and showing them the latest amazing developments with a great focus on pro, aero, gravel, ebike, mtb and urban helmets. We will start to contact retailers now that our new US website has launched. We have the capacity to service retailers with daily deliveries and we already have more new products in the pipeline for 2023 with plans for steady introduction in the months ahead.” Bernardi will be managing sales responsibilities with regular visits to retailers in the months ahead.

Over time, the company plans to steadily add more models as retailers help direct and request their favorite styles. It is expected that in a few years the company will offer the same full range as it offers in Europe and around the world.

“We recognize that to maintain our growth and momentum we had to enter the US market to leverage the investments in R&D, product development, teams like the Astana Qazaqstan WorldTour team,” said Alberto Nicoli, CEO of Limar SRL. “We are investing heavily and expect our products to be well received based on the feedback we collected at Sea Otter.”

Vincenzo Nibali, winner of Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a España

With the Tour de France starting in July, it’s the perfect time to start business as the company gains tremendous brand recognition at the event, followed up by the Vuelta a España in August, which suits the team’s many talented riders.

Alongside their road and aero efforts, the company is very focused on mountain biking and gained unbelievable brand awareness in 1996 when Paola Pezzo won the first cross-country Gold medal at the Olympics! They have never stopped innovating and the mountain collection continues to develop and progress.
