SWEET EE TITANIUM CRANKS ARE BACK
Cane Creek announced this week that they will be re-introducing the unique titanium eeWings cranks to fit road, gravel and cyclocross bottom bracket standards. The eeWings All-Road crankset is made entirely from high-grade titanium and is designed for ultimate stiffness and durability while weighing in at less than 400 grams. The company said that’s in the same weight range as premium carbon cranks but 20-30 percent stiffer and more durable. The eeWings All-Road carries the same 10-year limited warranty as the eeWings Mountain crank.
The $999 eeWings All-Road cranks are compatible with direct mount X-SYNC chainrings and are available in 170mm, 172.5mm and 175mm arm lengths. The cranks also have a titanium 30mm spindle and are compatible with BSA68mm, PF86.5 and 386EVO bottom brackets as well as PF30 and BB30 bottom brackets with outboard bearing configurations. THIS JUST IN: CAMPY & CANNONDALE

THROWBACK WEDNESDAY: SPEAKING OF CAMPAGNOLO
Yes, it was back-in-the-day that a wonderful man by the name of Bill Woodull was the man behind Campy’s race support effort with the aid of this sweet Buick station wagon.
VIDEO: JUSTIN WILLIAMS MONSTER ENERGY
Monster Energy had the opportunity to shadow Justin Williams at the Manhattan Beach Grand Prix where he came away with the victory in the Men’s Cat 1 field by jumping away early and winning by a healthy margin. Justin has witnessed the ups and downs that come with the pursuit of choosing to make cycling a job, and just had his most successful seasons doing it without a team. After claiming victory at Manhattan Beach, he went on to take both the road and criterium amateur national championships. VIDEO HERE
This past week at the annual Interbike trade show, Road Bike Action teamed with the show promoters to announce the 2018 Interbike Innovation Awards. The Interbike Innovation Awards showcase an array of category excellence in product, retail, advocacy and exhibitor booths. The category-specific awards were chosen not only by RBA, but, for their respective sport specific products, also Mountain Bike Action and Electric Bike Action.
