Bio Drivetrain Cleaner

Muc-Off wanted a drivetrain cleaner in a pourable bottle, so they made one. This drivetrain cleaner cuts through most grease with serious cleaning power, and after a few minutes of soaking and a little light brushing, your chain and cassette will look brand new again. We used it without much care, since the solution is fully biodegradable and safe on all metal, plastic, rubber and seals. We preferred the nozzle cap as opposed to the spray cap, because we like to apply it like a chain lube before washing it off.

Hydro Dynamic Chain Lube

This chain lube was made specifically for Team Sky and is Muc-Off’s ultimate lubricant for all weather conditions. Like any other chain lube, it is applied with ease, but the difference comes into play with the UV Torch that comes with it. In order to ensure that the chain is fully and properly lubed, you can shine the light on the chain and see exactly where the lube set into the bearings. While this is a nice feature to have, it is also very time-consuming, as we found ourselves skipping this step after one or two uses. As far as the lubricant itself, the nicely scented liquid keeps the drivetrain wet for a noticeably long time but the special synthetic polymers didn’t seem to quiet the chain as claimed.

Bike Protect

Bike Protect from Muc-Off is applied after you wash your bike. The spray has minor hydrophobic properties, so it not only protects the bike from UV rays, but also from water and rain. Packed with an increased amount of oil, the protection spray leaves a sparkling, non-sticky finish on all bikes including those with matte finishes. Impressive! After cleaning and drying the bike, all that is needed is a quick spray and a wipe-down, and you will be pleased no matter what type of material your bike and accessories are made out of.

Bio Degreaser

Just like their Drivetrain Cleaner, Muc-Off’s Bio Degreaser is designed to tackle the toughest grease and grime. The aerosol spray safely removes built-up oil, grease and grime on metal, plastic, rubber and seals. The best part of this solution is its water-soluble property, meaning with a little bit of water, the degreaser washes off clean. Though the solution may not be as strong as the Drivetrain Cleaner, it can still be used effectively to rid your frame of the ugly chain-slap marks and excess buildup on chainrings.

Dry Lube

Chain lube is needed by every chain, though very little differentiates between the brands and types of lube. Muc-Off’s Dry Lube is biodegradable, so it is safe for your bike and the planet, but more than that, it is a deep-penetrating lube meant to withstand extreme conditions. The Dry Lube proved to be ruthless, keeping a moist feel on the chain and a smooth feel for longer rides without the need to reapply.

Nano Tech Bike Cleaner

The notable feature with Muc-Off is the fact that all of their products are biodegradable, meaning they are safe on all materials and safe for the environment. Used for cutting through any grit or grime, this bright pink solution uses their very own Nano Technology, which is described as their secret power within that tears molecules down to microscopic levels while also taking care of your bike’s delicate finish. We were thoroughly impressed with the cleaning solution and how easy it made the cleaning process. It swept the dirt away with ease and left a slight glittery effect.

Even with all the cleaning solutions in the world, you can’t truly get a bike spotless without some trusty tools. Muc-Off combines all five of their tools in an easy-to-buy package.
