Although Specialized may not have walked away from the 2016 Tour de France with the coveted yellow jersey, the American bike brand still came away with numerous stage wins and both the polka-dot and green jersey awards courtesy of Team Saxo-Tinkoff riders Rafal Majka and Peter Sagan respectively. Here’s a close-up look at both of their bikes as well as the Team Quick-Step/Etixx Venge of Marcel Kittel who also won a stage.

The Saxo-Tinkoff team had quite the going-away party in France by taking both polka-dot Climber & green Sprinter jerseys with Rafal Majka and Peter Sagan respectively.

PETER SAGAN’S VENGE

Reflecting his dominant effort in the Tour and his status as the reigning World Champion, Sagan’s Venge ViAS has a thick coat of green paint with rainbow striped Roval CLX 60mm deep wheels.

Sagan relies on Look Keo Blade pedals mounted to a Shimano Dura-Ace crank with SRM power meter. The French pedal maker sells a signature version of the pedal as well.

Sagan runs with the 60mm deep Roval wheels. Rumor has it that the proprietary brakes are modified to provide better stopping power.

Rafal Majka’s Tarmac was resplendent with the eye-catching polka-dot scheme that has celebrated the best climber in the Tour.

Like Sagan and Alberto Contador, Majka also uses Look Keo Blade pedals and he too was given a special celebratory pair to ride into Paris with.
