Several weeks ago, Wolf Tooth introduced a new line of single chainrings for use with Shimano drivetrains, ideal for use on cyclocross and gravel bikes. Now, thanks to demand from their customers, the component manufacturer has unveiled an additional line of single chainrings for those of the elliptical persuasion. Available in 38-, 40- and 42-tooth versions, Wolf Tooth’s new rings are machined at the company’s facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota, from 7075-T6 aluminum and also utilize the brand’s patent-pending Drop-Stop tooth profile, which they say provide exceptional chain tension and mud-shedding capabilities. The new chainrings sell for $78.95. Click here to check out Wolf Tooth’s website for ordering information.
