This weekend we decided to attend one of our favorite cross races in Southern California, Corriganville in Simi Valley. It’s a park that is nestled just below some great singletrack in a valley that has a gully running down the middle. There is plenty of loose dirt and sand to keep you on your toes with some high-speed sections too. Jeff, the course designer, decided the barriers should be placed just after a fast and slightly sandy turn that leads to a steep incline. Overall the course was challenging and lots of fun, especially the gully that had a fun little hip.
Here are a few photos from the races and for more info or to sign up for an upcoming race head to SoCalCross.org.
Last is our editor Troy Templin, who decided to try his luck in the race too. If you want to watch his entire race as he suffers just click here and if you want to see all the photos captured at the race click here.
