Like the sparrows making their annual return to San Juan Capistrano, Team Ineos started off the year headed to rugged climbs of the Canary Islands for their kick-off training camp. Not much as changed within one of the sport’s greatest teams – the riders are still astride similarly spec’d Pinarello F12s with Shimano drivetrains (and yes, still sans disc brakes) and uniforms. In addition to the three Tour de France winners on hand (Chris Froome, Geraint Thomas, and Egan Bernal), the Ineos squad is stacked with race winning talent.
