Team Lotto-Soudal Goes Disc

Campagnolo's best binders seal the deal

It only seems to make sense that since Campagnolo makes the best disc brakes that one of their pro teams should commit to using them…hence, Lotto Soudal Cycling Team makes the switch.

More on Campagnolo’s Disc Brakes

Lotto Soudal will compete in 2020 on the Ridley Noah Fast Disc and Ridley Helium SLX Disc.

Caleb Ewan and John Degenkolb will race next season on the Noah Fast Disc. Although Caleb Ewan already booked 10 victories on the Noah past season, 2020 will hold a big change for him, because Ewan will make the switch from rim to disc.

The Noah Fast Disc is Ridley’s most aerodynamic bike. Each part of the frame is developed to generate as little resistance as possible, without losing even 1 Watt. With 2 stage victories in the Giro and 3 in the Tour, Ewan proves that Ridley has certainly succeeded in their design.

Tim Wellens also makes the switch to disc. The Ridley Helium SLX Disc is, according to Ridley, the absolute king among racing bikes. Light, stiff and very reactive, exactly what riders like Tim Wellens and Thomas De Gendt need.
Just like Wellens, Philippe Gilbert opts for the Helium SLX Disc and was already impressed by the bike: “The Helium SLX Disc claims it’s the King of the Racers. It didn’t steal its name. Its agile steering and overall stiffness feel so good, it’s perfect for me. I could also select the colors for this bike myself. Because of this, this Ridley already has a special sentiment for me”.
