Team Twenty 16 is pleased to announce that 2013 World Championship medalist Carmen Small has been selected to represent USA at Pan Am Continental Road Championships held May 5-10 in Leon, Mexico. She is joined by returning 2 x Olympic gold medalist Kristin Armstrong. “I’m really excited to represent USA cycling at the Pan American Championships for the Time Trial and Road Race!” remarked Small. There is always something special representing your nation at these events. It brings out the best in every athlete!”
Selected for or the Pan American Championship Road Race is 2014 Gent Wevelgem winner Lauren Hall (Dolores, Colorado) will represent USA along with TWENTY16 presented by Sho-Air Carmen Small. The third rider is Coryn Rivera (Tustin, California) form United Healthcare Pro Cycling.
“I’m looking forward to representing USA with such strong riders with a single mission in mind.” commented Hall, ” I’ve never raced PanAms before and I look forward to the experience and aiming for a win, either myself or from our team.”
Hall and Small will continue their European campaign with USA Cycling competing in the upcoming Rhonda van Gederland and Flèche Wallone World Cup, they will then return to join their TWENTY16 presented by Sho-Air teammates for several UCI races in the U.S.
