Giro d'Italia 2019 - 102nd Edition - Ilnur Zakarin (RUS - Team Katusha - Alpecin)

Russian Ilnur Zakarin, a stage winner in 2016, and German Nils Politt, second in this year’s Paris-Roubaix, head up the Katusha team for the July.

Katusha included two Tour debutant in Portugal’s Jose Goncalves and Dane Mads Wurtz Schmidt.
Zakarin finished ninth in last year’s Tour and this season came in 10th in the Giro. Oldtimers will delight in seeing legendary green jersey winner Erik Zabel’s son also make a name for himself.
