Ethan Hayter displays underrated sprinting power
Briton Ethan Hayter sprinted to victory in the second stage of the Tour de Romandie in Switzerland on Thursday, as Rohan Dennis retained the overall lead.Ineos’ Hayter, who also won the prologue on Tuesday, edged out Jon Aberasturi and Fernando Gaviria at the end of the 103 mile ride in Echallens. Australian Dennis, who took the race lead by finishing second in Wednesday’s first stage, holds a 14-second advantage over second-placed Felix Grossschartner in the general classification. The third stage on Friday is a 165.1km ride starting and finishing in Valbroye.
