Tweet of the Day: Rigoberto Uran’s Homegrown Competition
Some roadside competition in Colombia
EF Pro Cycling’s Rigoberto Uran gave us an up close view of his daily training rides and the roadside competition that keeps him quick. Like most of us Uran is training from home and his community is stepping up to the challenge.
At the end of the video Uran notes they were riding at 45 kph, about 28 mph, for the length of the effort. Following fellow Colombian Egan Bernal’s win at the 2019 Tour de France, the number of cycling fans has expanded throughout the country.
Is this just Nairo Quintana in disguise? Can you hold Uran’s wheel? Stay safe and ride!
Mijitos vean pues, cuando le sale a uno la verdadera competencia en el camino. pic.twitter.com/HGDGSYayFP
