Just as names like Gary Fisher and Greg LeMond are “bike names” in America, so too is Marcus Storck in Germany. Marcus is an old bike industry frame who’s family has been involved in cycling for almost 100 years. It was back in the mid-90s that he finally created Storck Bikes.

For 2023 Storck is releasing an updated version of their aero road bike, dubbed the AerFast 4.0. Although the production bike (below) looks smart enough, we were taken by the custom version with some pink flair that is a personal bike for World Superbike racer Scott Redding who also sponsors the SCRT- Muc-Off cycling team.

Press Release
Already the Storck Aerfast.4 Pro caused a furor as one of the fastest racing bikes ever measured: The sporty and sleek aero racer was measured by the aerodynamics experts Swiss Side as the first bike in the world under 200 watts. Now the successful model appears as a Comp entry-level version and Platinum Premium edition in a classy stealth look.
The world premiere of the Storck Aerfast.4 Pro not only attracts all eyes in the peloton with its shimmering “Radioactive Green” paint job. Designers also describe the prestigious bike as a milestone in bicycle history. The progressive bike has already won the Red Dot Award and the International Design Award.
Now the premium manufacturer is opening the model structure of the Aerfast.4 to the Comp and Platinum lines as well. The different model variants differ in the paint finish and the quality level of the carbon fibers. The Comp line is characterized by the simple black matte finish with noble black decor. Storck Comp models are configurated with entry-level to mid-range groupsets and feature an excellent price-performance ratio. The Aerfast.4 Platinum shows the top of the range in the aero segment: Highest-quality carbon finish for perfect riding performance and weight reduction at the same time.
The Aerfast.4 is a consequent improvement in the wind tunnel. The fast cockpit and the flat fork offer the minimum possible attack surfaces for the airstream and minimize air turbulence, so that the construction is perfected to an aerodynamic record level. The popular Aerfast.3 remains in the product range. Compared to the Aerfast.4, it has a narrower and therefore more bulbous fork and a comfortable handlebar stem unit and also has excellent
flow characteristics,
The Aerfast.4 Comp is available from $4500. With the entry-level aero racer at world class level Storck sets a benchmark for the upcoming road bike season and convinces brand new in the test: “Storck’s Aerfast.4 is an aero racer straight out of the box: flat tube profiles, high rims, distinctly sporty seating position for the hunt for those decisive seconds.
