FIRST LOOK: SELLE ITALIA’S MATHIEU VAN DER POEL SIGNATURE SADDLE
Two legends of the peloton roll together with a classic name
Selle Italia announced the arrival of a special Mathieu van der Poel signature edition of their $400 Flite Boost Kit Carbonio SuperFlow saddle. Three decades after the original Flite was introduced, Selle Italia has continued evolving the design from the original that became one of the most famous in saddle history.
With it’s over 120 year history as a saddle maker, Selle Italia has of course been a legend in the pro peloton for decades for their performance driven designs and quality construction. The smart looking 160 gram (wide) saddle is made in Italy and made its debut under MVDP at the Tour of Flanders.
At 248mm/10 inches in length, the MVDP signature saddle is another in the line of compact “power” saddles with a flat surface design and is available in two widths: S-135mm or L-145mm. The 7x9mm carbon/keramic rails are printed with a handy measuring guide to help ensure proper positioning.
