First Look: 2021 Canyon Inflite

World championship performance

Ever since its launch in 2018, the Inflite has quickly climbed the ranks to become the most dominant bike in cyclocross. Following Mathieu van der Poel’s dominant 2019/2020  performance, Canyon looked to expand their Inflite line to include a competitively priced aluminum frame as well as a top-end world championship replica build.

For 2021 the Inflite returns with updated artworks and specs across the entire portfolio, including a range of eye-catching pro replica designs on all platform levels – from pro-spec CF SLX, through mid-range CF SL, to entry-level AL SLX.

Now a wider audience can benefit from world championship-winning performance with the launch of the 2021 Inflite range.

All platforms feature the Inflite’s signature carrying concept – or “that kink”, is it has come to be known – a feature that is backed up by  seatpost compliance, pinpoint handling, a stiff and robust construction, copious mud clearance for the worst racing conditions, frame-specific wheel sizes and a tubeless-ready wheel/tire system.

Canyon’s entire 2021 Inflite range is available in eight frame sizes (3XS-2XL), starting with the aluminium-framed Inflite 6 ($1699) and topping out with the world championship replica Inflite CF SLX 9 Team ($4499).
