2021 Giant TCX Advanced Pro First Look

Lighter, smoother, faster?

When it comes to a catalog of cool bikes that don’t bust the bank, there’s more in store from Giant than just road bikes. After 5 years Giant has updated their top-tier cyclocross frame, the TCX Advanced Pro.

The TCX Advanced Pro offers lightweight, race focused improvements. Giant claims nearly 200 grams of weight savings with the latest iteration of the Advanced Pro frame, a medium frame hits the scales at 850 grams. In addition to a carbon frame and fork, the Advanced Pro uses a traditional adjustable seatpost with an internal binder and proprietary D-Fuse post for added compliance. The seat post clamp has changed location to the rear of the seat tube. Riders can now customize their seat post with standard round 30.9mm compatible options. This allows for the use of a dropper post and highlights Giant’s all-road intentions for the TCX.

Giant offers three models in the TCX Advanced line, prices range from $2000  for the the frameset to $5000 for the SRAM AXS eTap build.
