TEAM Q36.5 DEBUTS FOR THE 2023 SEASON

At RBA we think racing is a good thing so when we see new events, and better still, new teams come to the fore, we get excited. Team Q36.5 is the latest team we’ve heard about and they definitely standout with stated goals that go beyond race wins. With former Tour de France winner Vincenzo Nibali acting as the team’s technical adviser, the Swiss based team will represent title sponsor Q36.5 clothing and Scott bikes.

The Q36.5 PRO CYCLING TEAM has presented its mission, squad and racing kit at the Kongresshaus in Zurich. The squad of 24 riders, managed by Doug Ryder and with Vincenzo Nibali as technical advisor, offers an exciting blend of youth and experience, with 13 nationalities represented. The 2023 jersey of the Swiss-registered UCI ProTeam by Q36.5 was unveiled as well as key partnerships, namely SCOTT, the official bike supplier, Breitling, UBS and Mercedes.

Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team presents itself as a different team. And this is its mission, which is a true statement of intent: #RacingTheFuture

Q36.5’s RaceWear is entirely manufactured with Italian fabrics and hand-crafted within a 350 km radius from its Bolzano headquarters in Italy. The Pro Team Bibs are made from 100% recycled yarns whilst the Jersey is produced using 70% recycled yarns. All garments are entirely PFC free, made to last and underline our shared commitment for a more sustainable sport.

THE TEAM KIT DESIGN

The visual elements of the team kit are inspired by the brand’s Body Mapping studies and experiments, where they analyze the heat and sweat zones of the rider. The heat sensors in lime are used during this research & data collection process.

Q36.5’s innovation and technology work towards maintaining the optimal body temperature of 36.5C at all times. The Q36.5 Pro Team Jersey is based on our R2 model, one of the most advanced jerseys in their collection, thanks to its exceptional functionality.

Obsessively designed by studying body mapping and aerodynamic research, this jersey is characterized by combining 4 proprietary fabrics & 11 patterns strategically placed to ensure maximum performance.

Gregarius Ultra Pro Team Bibs

ABOUT Q36.5
The Italian technical cycling apparel brand Q36.5, co-founded by Luigi Bergamo and Sabrina Emmasi, was born in 2013. Since its inception, Q36.5 has been distinguished by using high-tech fabrics aimed at facilitating athletes’ thermoregulation in situations of extreme exertion in all environmental conditions, even the most difficult. The brand’s name derives from this mission: Q as in Latin quaerere meaning ”research”, and 36.5, the ideal temperature in degrees Celsius of a healthy body.
