Vielo Bikes: Road & Gravel Done Differently – Video

Of the myriad of new bikes found among the hundreds of expo tents at the Sea Otter Classic, there were two that stood out as being truly unique – and they were both found in the Vielo Bikes booth which was hosted by the father and son team intent of Ian and Trevor Hughes. One look at the bikes and it’s clear that the British duo are intent on doing things differently.

Both the road and gravel bikes share a 1x dedicated frame and each respective frame is a unique design specifically for the task at hand. With its very untraditional shaped seatstays, the road bike (above) was a real eye catcher.

Curiously, the gravel bike was of a more unique design, albeit capable of running a pair of big fatties when it comes to tire clearance.
