WATCH: ZDENEK STYBAR SAYS GOODBYE TO ROAD RACING

After over a decade with the Quick Step team, former cyclocross world champion and proven road racer   Zdenek Stybar is bidding the squad goodbye when his contract ends this month.  Stybar made waves when he transitioned from a celebrated cyclocross career, but proved his detractors wrong with a Tour de France stage win in 2015.

For twelve years, Zdenek Stybar was a member of Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl. Having come across from cyclo-cross, a discipline where he won three world titles, the Czech established himself as one of the best Classics riders of the peloton, winning Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, E3 Harelbeke and Strade Bianche during his time with the team.

After his final official appearance for the Wolfpack on the road, Zdenek sat down to talk about his decade in the squad, his best memories from all these years and what it all meant for him.
